How does Zero Backend work

Zero is the safety engine behind BackPack. It silently evaluates text from AI chat, diary, tasks, and OCR to detect real danger (self-harm, violence, grooming, threats). When a serious red flag is found:
✓Only critical events are flagged - parents aren’t spammed with noise.
✓Alerts can be emailed instantly; events are logged for auditing.
✓No raw diaries or chats are stored - just the minimum data needed for the alert.
✓Uses our curated rules and AI to reduce false alarms and catch real risks early.
