Submit a request to permanently erase your server-side BackPack data. Local data on your device is under your control (see below).
What we delete (server-side)
BackPack account and parent/guardian link records.
AI request logs and safety/abuse-prevention flags associated with your account.
Diagnostics and access logs tied to your account.
Support tickets linked to the account email if you ask us to include them.
What is not on our servers
Your Diary, Tasks, Schedule, Calendar entries and AI chat history are stored locally on your device. They are not uploaded by default. To erase that local data, uninstall the app or use your device’s storage settings.
What we may retain temporarily
Minimal records needed for security, fraud prevention, or legal obligations.
Backups: deleted data may persist in encrypted backups for up to 30 days and is then purged automatically.
Payment-provider records (e.g., PayPal) are controlled by that provider and kept under their policies—we cannot remove those.
How we verify requests
We verify via a reply from the account email, or from the linked parent/guardian email for a child’s account.
For child accounts, we may request proof of parental authority if needed.
Timeline
We acknowledge your request within 2 business days.
We complete deletion within 7–14 days (and always within 30 days), then email confirmation.
